Hyper Combat is HyperLine Robotics' arena combat program — purpose-built machines that meet other robots in a steel-walled box and only one drives out. Carbon armour, kinetic weapons, brushless drivetrains, and a lot of late nights.
Two robots, one arena, three minutes. Combat robotics is the most unforgiving discipline in robotics — every design choice is tested by another team trying to break it. Weapons spin at thousands of RPM, armour cracks, electronics get punched into the floor.
What looks like a fight is actually engineering at full intensity. Material science, controls, power electronics, mechanical design and battlefield strategy — all packed into a robot you can hold in one hand.
Combat is divided by mass. We compete in two classes — the agile Antweight and the heavier-hitting Beetleweight. Each one teaches a different lesson.
Brushless power, carbon plate and 3D-printed armour packed into half a kilo. Fast, replaceable, relentless — and where Hyper Combat first proved itself.
Real kinetic energy territory. Bigger weapons, harder hits, full carbon armour. Our heavyweight bracket — and the toughest school we have.
We started HyperLine with line followers and mini sumos — chasing milliseconds and grip. Combat is a different language: kinetic energy, armour budgets and the cold question of "what happens when this gets hit at full speed?"
Hyper Combat is our answer. Every robot in this program is built from the ground up by the same hands that build our line followers — but tuned for survival, not lap times. Every match teaches us something the workshop can't.
Six podiums across two of the biggest combat events of the year — in both Antweight and Beetleweight.
